TLG accepted your application...
Yup! I'm going to Georgia!
In fact, I'll be there in 3weeks! Count them!
I'm too excited to write anymore...
Hey, learn on other people's experience and prepare adequately - planning what to pack, and managing expectations is must! Regarding expectations - the best would be if you reset them to zero - you won't be disappointed.
Drop an email once you will be there, I will be in Georgia from June 7th till July 7th and could have a coffee somewhere. email is iraklin at gmail dot com
P.S. I'm the one who leave comments at Neal's blog under nickname -->
Hi Invisible:) Thanks for the advice, I've read a few blogs already and have seen your comments on a few if I'm not mistaken. Why only a mnth in GE? I'm almost expecting the worst right now, and hoping for the best if that's possible
It is combination of vac and offsite work - my permanent work place is in States and I managed to convince the management that I can work remotely from Georgia.
As far as about teaching - language is not something I can do, I can teach only Information Technology. :-) That's the field I've being working last 20 years.
Congrats!
